1. Limited asteroids that respawn once every six months.
2. Remove all insurance.
3. Change all missions and complexes to reward security status.
4. Limited loot drops at 0.01%.
5. CCP gives players ISKs once a month at the start of subscription cycle.
Feels like RL isn't it? :)
I only read the OP, and first and alst page of this thread. I can see were this is going, but its sad to say that any action would have much of an effect, as it is all ready too late, those who are rich will stay rich, those who aren't will whine and quit the game or something, Which may make me like eve again, I hate this overcrowding which equals lag.
Eve was far more fun before we hit the 30k player mark, as things like hacs were symbols of power, every game needs something that differs between vetrans and newer players(noobs), but it takes but a few months for someone to train and fly ships that took me a year or more to afford in pvp back in teh days. with GTC(CCP seeling ISK tbh) The game went to ****, no sense of loss anymore, no one can be bothered or care about who is top of the killboard anymore, since killiong someone doesn't hurt a bit.
Its gone from a Harsh PVP environment into a carebear RTS game. Most of eve pvps now, and it is still not enogh of an isk sink, insurance was a bad idea from the start.
The sad thing is that its too late to change the way things are, and its best to move on, CCP has made eve soft, thats why more people are joining this easy game.
Originally by: Shin Dahn Edited by: Shin Dahn on 17/02/2008 22:37:52 Eve's economy is based on pvp.
Ships are not leaving the game fast enough; i.e. not enough pvp or not enough pvp kills.
pvp needs to increase; more ships 'sinking' out of Eve
That would help what the OP is talking about

Maybe if everyone stoped hugging each other and hiding in pos's taht may be a viable option.
It will be good if there was many solar systems without anymoons what so ever and plenty of belts to attract ratters. not sure CCP care to spend anytime redesigning the game, lets put more money into marketing instead.
